Chris Brown and Usher had an incredible reunion that shocked fans following two years of alleged animosity.
CB surprised fans at the Bobby Dodd Stadium in Atlanta by inviting a couple of special guests to the stage during his "Breezy Bowl" tour stop on Friday night, October 3, including GloRilla and Bow Wow. However, no one had the crowd screaming at the top of their lungs like Usher did. The Grammy Award-winning artist came out to perform his 2004 hit "Superstar" with Breezy by his side.
"This is my muthaf**kin' brother for life," Brown told the crowd with his arm around Usher.
"I’m so happy to be sharing the stage with him," he continued. "I feel like, me and Shad, came up looking at him, Michael Jackson, a couple other people, but ain't too many people f**kin' with this n***a. I'm just being real. He's the greatest."
Chris Brown and Usher's friendship has lasted well over 15 years. However, fans once believed there was a serious rift between the two superstar singers. In 2023, Usher threw a surprise birthday party for Breezy at a roller rink in Las Vegas. During the event, Brown reportedly got upset following an alleged interaction with Teyana Taylor. Usher tried to get Brown to calm down and walked him outside the venue. According to footage TMZ obtained at the time, Brown and Usher appeared to have gotten into an argument that ended in a physical fight.
Neither artist addressed the altercation, but Usher did show off a video of his face during his performance at the Lovers & Friends festival the next day. He confirmed he didn't have any injuries despite the reports. Several months later, rumors about their feud were swept under the rug after Chris Brown supported Usher during his iconic Super Bowl Halftime Show performance last year.
