After her efforts to seal the Honmoon with Hunter/X in KPop Demon Hunters and crashing Saturday Night Live to save Bad Bunny and friends from demon Jinu, EJAE announced her new solo single "In Another World."
In a lengthy note to fans, EJAE shared that the past few months have been a "crazy ride" following the success of Kpop Demon Hunters, but that she didn't think she was "meant to be an artist" after being behind the scenes over the years while writing songs for other artists. She went on to say that writing has always been her "therapy, my way of coping, celebrating, making sense of all the noise in my head," explaining that although she has written many songs that never found the right home, there is one that was different. EJAE wrote, "There's one song that feels like the perfect place to start. Writing this song helped me through a hard time, and I hope that sharing it can help others too. It's called 'In Another World' and is releasing on 10/24/25."

EJAE's appearance on Saturday Night Live, along with her Hunter/X counterparts saw the girls protecting Bad Bunny, aka "Thomas" in the sketch, and his friends at brunch from demon Jinu after his buddies didn't think KPop Demon Hunters was "based on a true story." But, thanks to Hunter/X, the group was saved. Watch the full sketch below.
