Nicole Kidman made her first public appearance since filing to divorce country star Keith Urban.
Kidman attended the amfAR (The Foundation for AIDS Research) Dallas Gala on Saturday (October 4) in Dallas, Texas. The award-winning actress presented Yellowstone’s Taylor Sheridan with the Award of Inspiration at the nonprofit organization’s event. Kidman works with Sheridan on the series Lioness, a drama-thriller that premiered in 2023. Sheridan also teamed up with Blake Shelton to executive produce The Road, a talent competition series featuring Kidman’s soon-to-be ex-husband (Urban will serve as the headliner as his opening acts, 12 rising musicians, compete during the live shows on tour).
Kidman cited “irreconcilable differences” when she filed to divorce Urban last week. The split, which arrived as a surprise to many longtime fans, ends a marriage of nearly 20 years. Kidman is also seeking to be the primary residential parent of the two teen daughters she shares with the country artist, Sunday Rose, 17, and Faith Margaret, 14. Urban and Kidman met at a gala in 2005 in Los Angeles, California. They got married the following year, on June 25, 2006, in Sydney, Australia. Neither one of them publicly addressed the divorce as of publication time.
